Measuring Instructions
Measuring the length: After obtaining a maximal erection, position your penis perpendicular to the rest of your body and placed a tape measure on the top (dorsal) surface of the penis, pushing into the pubic bone. Record the distance from the base to the tip. The subject to the left has an erect penis length of 165 millimeters.

Measuring the circumference: In order to determine the circumference of your erect penis, determine the point of maximum girth and wrap a flexible tape measure around it as illustrated to the right. This subject's maximum erect circumference measures 130 millimeters. (Remember, if you don't have a flexible measure, use a piece of string or a strip of paper, and mark off with a pencil the point of overlap. Remove the string and place it alongside a ruler to determine your measurement.)
